I have been driving my Nitrum for a little over two years in combination with E-Motion M25 DuoDrive wheels and the JAY J3 backrest. Aside from a few things, I am satisfied with the wheelchair. It is suitable for everyday use and easy to load, as the backrest can be folded down or removed, as can the wheels. Due to its small turning circle, I can also get around very well in small shops, for example. I have my Nitrum in matte black, which is perfect for anyone who also loves all-black. It looks simple and elegant. Unfortunately, however, the matte paint seems to be more sensitive when it comes to scratches. Therefore, you should be a bit more careful, e.g., when traveling by air or loading. You have to make sure that the center of gravity is measured and adjusted correctly, as the wheelchair seems to be very sensitive regarding the tipping point. If this is not the case (like with me), the Nitrum tends to tip backward at the slightest bumps. In addition, I have the non-height-adjustable push handles, which I would not choose again next time. They are too low to push even for short people (1.55m) and impractical, especially in combination with the E-Motion wheels and the associated anti-tippers. The person pushing consequently either has to bend over a lot or walk to the side. Apart from that, I am very glad that I decided on the JAY 3 back system. It significantly increases comfort, reduces back pain, and simply makes sitting with spinal fusion more pleasant. If necessary, a removable headrest could also be attached to the backrest. The small bag under the seat is very practical, e.g., for storing the Euro-key. In addition, suitable tools for on the go are located there.
